Youth Ministries

Youth MinistriesWeekly Teaching
Each Sunday, the nursery opens for children birth-2 at 9:15, and children ages 2-5 are dismissed following song service for children’s church. Sunday school is offered each Sunday following the service, at approximately 11:00 a.m., for preschool through high school; adult classes are available, as well. Children’s classes are also offered on Wednesday evenings (September through May) at 7:30 p.m. A snack is provided.

Bible Memory Camp
Our involvement in Bible Memory Ministries is a wonderful opportunity to encourage students in second through twelfth grades to memorize scripture. Participants meet monthly throughout the school year to complete Bible lessons and recite verses. Students who complete program requirements are eligible to attend camp in early summer. Campers often rave about the life-changing and energizing experiences they have there!

Vacation Bible School
Maranatha Church is transformed for a week each Summer, as students Pre-K through eighth grades converge for VBS. Each evening, they enjoy roughly two hours of songs, crafts, Bible teaching, skits, recreation, snacks, and plenty of surpises. The week culminates Sunday evening, as VBS staff, students, and their families join for a celebratory picnic.

Youth Group
Each Wednesday and Sunday evenings, the high school students meet for Bible teaching, worship, service, games, and just to hang out. The youth group also takes a missions trip each summer, using the funds they have raised throughout the year. Click below to watch a video of testimonies from last summer’s trip.
